What is a Soccer Academy?
Our Soccer Acaademy focuses on the introduction and mastery of soccer skills in a fun, learning environment. This is achieved through maaximum ball contact.

This year, San Carlos AYSO is partnering with AYSO Soccer Camps and UK International to extend the program! Players can select 1 weekday session and attend their listed Sunday scrimmage.

All start the week of Monday March 16th and continue through till Sunday June 7th! Divisions, with year-of-birth in parens. This schedule is subject to change, sign up now so we can get a handle on the numbers!

ALL LOCATIONS TBD, we're still working out those details with the city. For reference, our training sessions last year were held at Central Middle School, and the Sunday scrimmages were up at Heather School.

Our youngest ages will get an hour per week for $99
Special 6U Academy (2014-2015)
- Sundays, 3:30 - 4:15pm

For $175, 8/10/12U's will get a training session during the week, followed by an open scrimmage session on Sunday
7/8U (2012-2013)
Pick one training session:
- Mondays, 5 - 6:15pm or 6:15 - 7:30pm
- Tuesdays, 5 - 6:15pm or 6:15 - 7:30pm
Scrimmage on Sunday
- Sundays, 4:30 - 5:15pm
10U (2010-2011) and 12U (2008-2009)
Pick one training session:
- Wednesdays, 5 - 6:15pm or 6:15 - 7:30pm
- Thursdays, 5 - 6:15pm or 6:15 - 7:30pm
Scrimmage on Sunday
- 10U on Sundays, 5:30 - 6:15pm
- 12U on Sundays, 6:30 - 7:15pm

First Scrimmages March 22nd
No Scrimmages Memorial Day Weekend or Easter Sunday

For 12 weeks this Spring, from March 16th through June 7th, professional trainers will run drills and scrimmages for kids in all of our age groups, based on birth year. The mission is to improve players skills through high quality - intensive technical training. By keeping these kids involved in some kind of soccer related activity, they'll be more prepared in the Fall!

This skill-focused player development program is for motivated and dedicated soccer players of all ages.  With attention on the players, this program provides coaches with an opportunity to learn and develop coaching skills.

We're using a tried and true format used in high quality soccer training programs and soccer camps. Experienced professional coaches will group players by age and ability to enhance learning by tailoring training sessions based on age for U6-U8 and for the U10 and above by age, gender, and skill level. This will allow players to compete and train with players of similar skill. Grouping older players by skill level, strong players are not able to dominate play; and will allow players that are still developing skills to get more opportunity on the ball which will accelerate their development. Strong players will be challenged at their level allowing their skills to progress
