City of San Carlos maintains a Field Hotline at
Additionally, San Carlos AYSO will try to update our Facebook page, when there is a change in field statuses. Click Here to Like us on Facebook, to get the most recent updates:
The city hotline is updated by 2 pm every weekday and early in the morning on the weekends ONLY IF THERE HAS BEEN A CHANGE IN FIELD STATUS FROM THE PREVIOUS MESSAGE.
For example, if the message states all fields are closed on Monday the 13th and you hear the same message when you call on Friday the 17th – it means the fields are still CLOSED.
SCAYSO policy for use of San Carlos School District fields such as Heather, Central and Tierra Linda is to follow the City guidelines. That means if the City grass fields are closed – so are the school fields.
If there is something wrong with the phone line… this page on the city website is usually updated along with the phone line: City of San Carlos Rec Department.
