Step 1:  Register to Volunteer online sing Blue Sombrero at https://www.sancarlosayso.org/ through your child’s account.

Step 2: Follow online instructions and complete form with E-signature.

Step 3: Respond to email for background check and provide requested information

Step 4: After passing background check, Contact the coordinator for the division or divisions in which you wish to coach. The coordinator will let you know which training is required, and will include you in further communications to coaches for that division. You can do this most easily at the Spring registration days, but after that you can still contact them. Please reference the Board Contacts page.

Step 5: Complete short online Safe Haven and Concussion Courses. Get Certified by following the instructions under the Coach Training & Certification page. Certifications are generally done in the Summer or late Summer before the season starts.

Step 6: Attend your division’s coach kickoff meetings to get uniforms, a coaching kit, and other information such as equipment locker combinations, your team roster, and practice slot assignments for divisions 7U and up.
