Eligibility

All new players, and players not registered in the previous Fall San Carlos program, must provide verification of birth date in order to complete their registration.

Contact your division coordinator with any questions.  Division coordinators can be found at Board Roster.

AYSO now follows school grade based registration.  This means that the effective date for registration is the player’s school grade as of August 1st for the fall season. So, for the Fall 2026 season, your child will be placed in a division based on their school grade as of August 1st, 2026.

Here is a breakdown of the new age chart and the new divisions for Fall 2026:

AYSO does not allow “play downs.”  If you would like to request a “play up,” those requests must be made via email to the San Carlos Registrar.  Play ups will be evaluated on a case by case basis and must be approved by the Regional Commissioner.  Players may not play up by two grade levels.
